Dylan Osetkowski could see the lead dwindling on the scoreboard. After a break at halftime, Texas’ offense had fallen into an unproductive motion of missed shots and turnovers, allowing Kansas to make a run and get back into the game.
The game tipped the same way most other Texas games did season: sloppy play in the opening minutes, hectic scrambling around the court and a lucky play here or there to somehow keep it interesting. Then, Tynice Martin happened.
At the beginning of the month, Texas and Georgia clashed in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl. The night began in dramatic fashion, as Texas’ Bevo XV charged at Georgia’s Uga during a meeting of live mascots.
