For the second year in a row, a UT aerospace engineering student has won the Brooke Owens Fellowship, a highly competitive program that selects 36 women in engineering across the nation and matches them with paid internships at aerospace companies and organizations.
The Expunction Project, administered by the Mithoff Pro Bono Program, invited students charged with one offense — like possession or consumption of alcohol as a minor or the use of a fake ID — under Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code.
Government freshman Zoe Lansbury and studio art freshman Oluwaseyi Odufuye will be going on the 12-day expedition, led by explorers Robert and Barney Swan. Lansbury said she wants to get a better understanding of what is happening to the environment through firsthand experiences.
